Tell Congress: Protect Affordable Healthcare for Early Educators

Fewer than 1 in 4 early childhood educators employed outside public schools can access health insurance through their employer, so options like Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace are a critical source of coverage for many of these educators.

Since 2021, the ACA’s enhanced premium tax credits have provided financial assistance to make healthcare more affordable for families with low to moderate incomes. As we approach the end of the year, these tax credits are set to expire and unless Congress acts, costs will skyrocket, risking health insurance access for educators and families.

We need your voice alongside ours. Take action today and urge your members of Congress to protect affordable healthcare for the early educators and families who rely on it.
