09/10/24 Pharmacy Voter Alert: Community PBM Reform Action & Presidential Debate
Action Alert
NACDS is amplifying the hard work of the NACDS RxIMPACT pharmacy community in alignment with the September 10th Presidential Debate.

A NACDS’ seven-figure ad campaign to advance PBM reform will reach Presidential debate viewers in the Washington, D.C. market this week. With high viewership expected for the debate itself – and for the pre-event and post-event analysis – the ad titled “Time Is Now” will continue to urge prompt Congressional action needed by all Americans and their pharmacies. The ad will air prominently around the debate’s simulcast coverage and popular programming on CNN, Fox News Channel, and CNBC.

Thank you for your resilient advocacy promoting one of the highest priorities facing the pharmacy community. Your commitment and hard work can be seen in the thousands of letters flooding Capitol Hill, video clip of Pharmacists at the July House Oversight & Accountability Committee Hearing, and over 30 August congressional pharmacy tours showing Congress in a hands-on way how pharmacies contribute to our nation’s health.

Please continue this engagement by enlisting as a committed Pharmacy Voter and preparing for the 2024 elections which are less than eight weeks away. Join NACDS President and CEO Steven Anderson and national political analyst Charlie Cook for a virtual NACDS RxIMPACT Votes event that will analyze the 2024 elections. These elections are so important over 50 companies, state associations, and schools of pharmacy have enlisted as partners in this virtual event set for Tuesday, September 17, at 1:00 pm ET.

Lead your colleagues, pharmacy teams, contacts, and communities by widely sharing this event invite to visibly showcase the strength of Pharmacy Voters in 2024!
