As the nation prepares to elect the policymakers who will shape pharmacy’s future on November 6, 2018, the NACDS RxIMPACT Votes program is equipped to help the pharmacy community energize to participate in the election process! Designed to educate the pharmacy community about the importance of voter registration, ongoing campaign volunteerism, and turning out to vote, NACDS RxIMPACT Votes will help you, your pharmacy teams and their patients get involved in the election process. Given the strongest relationships arise from support before a candidate is elected, this bipartisan program will help you unlock your constituent and political power and reveal how you can effectively volunteer to advance the campaigns of your candidates of choice. This three pronged “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) campaign gives you and your pharmacy teams the tools you need to register to vote, volunteer on a campaign to build candidate relationships before and after their election, and vote on Election Day. Nonpartisan GOTV efforts like NACDS RxIMPACT Votes shows constituents the powerful role they can play by casting their vote at the ballot box. The more we can encourage fellow advocates to participate in this process, the more the needs of pharmacy and its patients will be heard in the policymaking process! Check out the #PharmacyVoter Social Media Guide! This voter resource inspires pharmacy advocates to utilize social media vehicles to encourage others to participate in the 2018 elections. The lead-by-example resource showcases how advocates can effectively use social media to generically promote the election of candidates of choice by being personal, positive, and highlighting #PharmacyVoter. But before you see all of our other great resources below, take a moment and check out our two 30-second GOTV ads that are making waves in the pharmacy community!
