The Older Americans Act (OAA) is the foundational source of federal support and funding for local senior nutrition programs like yours, allowing the nationwide network to deliver more than 251 million meals to 2.2 million seniors annually. We need congress to reauthorize the OAA and fund local programs at levels necessary to address the needs of our rapidly growing aging population that is increasingly threatened by hunger and isolation.   

It is urgent that we urge Congress to make OAA reauthorization a top priority of the 119th Congress and send it to the President’s desk.  We need lawmakers to work together to strengthen and invest in Meals on Wheels programs!
