Meals on Wheels America, alongside 1,098 state, local, and national organizations sent a letter to House and Senate leadership raising concerns about the prospect of very deep cuts to non-defense programs for Fiscal Year (FY) 24 if a full-year continuing resolution (CR) were to pass. As a solution, Meals on Wheels America joined these organizations in strongly urging Congress to finalize and pass a full FY 24 Appropriations Bill by adopting the bipartisan Senate funding framework as a starting point for negotiations.
