Meals on Wheels America, alongside the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP), sent letters to House and Senate appropriations leaders, calling for increased funding of at least $1.284 billion for the Older Americans Act (OAA) Nutrition Program in the Fiscal Year (FY) 24 Labor HHS. These letters accompanied a series of joint meetings with key Members of Congress and their staff advocating on behalf of senior nutrition programs and the millions of older adults struggling with hunger and isolation.
