The Leadership Council on Aging Organizations (LCAO), of which Meals on Wheels America is a member, sent a letter to both House and Senate Appropriations Committee leadership encouraging them to pass Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations legislation that strengthens and protects programs servings older Americans. Programs that fall under the jurisdiction of the appropriations subcommittees provide vital services helping millions of older adults age with dignity, health and independence in their homes and communities as well as support to their family caregivers.
