Meals on Wheels America, who is a member of the Coalition to End Social Isolation and Loneliness, sent a letter expressing their strong support for the U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy’s recently released advisory, Our Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation. This advisory is a critically important step to support individuals who are facing social isolation and loneliness in communities across the United States, including older Americans.
