Meals on Wheels America President and CEO Ellie Hollander issued a press statement in response to S. 1036, the Senior Hunger Prevention Act. Meals on Wheels proudly endorses the Senior Hunger Prevention Act, as it would help strengthen and secure nutrition access for older adults and put solutions in place for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and other federal nutrition programs administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
