Meals on Wheels America President and CEO Ellie Hollander issued a press statement in response to a “Dear Colleague” letter championed by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and signed by 42 Senators, urging the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education to double funding for programs authorized under the Older Americans Act, like Meals on Wheels, in Fiscal Year (FY) 2024.
