MICHIGAN HEALTH FREEDOM AND VACCINE CHOICE RESOLUTION
Whereas, the people of Michigan reserve the right to informed consent and to medical, religious, and philosophical exemptions from any requirements that would impede access to school, work, government offices or any other institutions or public spaces and deserve to be informed of their right to an exemption, and
Whereas, the people of Michigan have the right to make choices for their children regarding all medical decisions, to take responsibility for their health and the health of their families and, in consultation with their physicians and health care providers, to make informed decisions about vaccines, masks, treatment, and other measures to keep them safe, with the understanding that every individual’s medical status and risk profile is unique and that one-size-fits-all mandates can be ineffective or even harmful, and
Whereas, the people of Michigan reserve our constitutionally protected rights to move freely about society without being required to present vaccine passports or divulging private information be it personal, medical, financial or otherwise, and
Whereas, the people of Michigan are free people who are sovereign from the World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Michigan Department of Health and Social Services (MDHSS) and bureaucratic mandates, and
Whereas, the doctors and health practitioners of Michigan have the right and duty to discuss research and treatment options with their patients without bureaucratic overreach and to treat them as individuals without censorship, or fear of losing their license or livelihood, and
Whereas, the people of Michigan have the right to be free from discrimination or segregation based on their vaccine status in the workplace, schools, and public places, therefore be it
RESOLVED that both government and private entities shall be prohibited from implementing vaccination mandates for students, employees, customers, or any other social standing,
RESOLVED that we call upon the Governor of Michigan and the Legislature of Michigan to reject any bill removing religious, philosophical, or medical exemptions to vaccination as a right in our state, to reject a government surveillance society in which an individual is denied employment deprived of education, or blocked from commercial activity based on vaccination status,
RESOLVED that the people of Michigan have the right to choose which medical products they take without mandates, coercion, fear of losing their license or livelihoods, discrimination, or being denied access to school or other public places,
RESOLVED that the people of Michigan have the right to privacy be it medical, financial, personal or otherwise and shall not be required to maintain or produce any type of written or digital passport to access normal society. Collection of this private information into databases should be by permission only via opt-in, and
RESOLVED that doctors and health practitioners have the right and duty to discuss research and a variety of treatment options with their patients who are, in turn, free to make their own decisions and decisions for their children, to accept or deny any of the options free from coercion, compelled speech, judgment, or discrimination.
