These bills create a school safety and mental health commission (HB 4089); strengthen tip reporting under OK2Say (HB 4092); require that public schools and nonpublic schools adopt and implement a standardized response terminology plan (HB 4095); require the Michigan Department of Education to establish a standardized response terminology plan (HB 4096); require schools to create behavioral threat assessment and management teams (HB 5549); require DHHS to develop and provide information regarding the safe storage of firearms (HB5450), and require districts to provide to parents and legal guardians information regarding the safe storage of firearms (HB 5451).
