Right now, the neuromuscular community across the country that utilize the Affordable Care Act (ACA) are very worried about losing their health insurance.

Those in the ACA marketplaces are staring at massive health insurance premium increases – as high as double or triple their 2025 rates. Patients are very concerned because they know they might not be able to afford their insurance or their treatment.

Send a message to your lawmakers to vote yes on extending the healthcare tax credit that makes high-quality health insurance affordable for people with pre-existing conditions like neuromuscular disease.

The US Senate has committed to voting on the healthcare tax credit bill in the next two weeks and the US House could vote shortly thereafter. It can’t come soon enough for neuromuscular patients. 

Your elected officials need to hear from you, even if they’ve already taken a position on this issue. We need to convince them to support the bill and, for those who already do, to speak out and rally others to do the same.

Everyone deserves access to affordable health coverage that allows them to treat their neuromuscular disease and live the best possible quality of life.
