Congress is currently considering approaches to fund the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and secure medical research funding for the neuromuscular disease research ecosystem.
Please contact your Congressmembers and urge them to support strong medical research funding. While some proposals would cut medical research funding by 40 percent, the US House of Representatives and particularly the US Senate have put forward reasonable proposals to fund NIH. Now it's time for them to finish the job.
