Did you know that July 26th was Disability Independence Day? It’s when we celebrated the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, but also recognized the work that’s still left to be done. Unfortunately, many members of the neuromuscular disease community face challenges when seeking and maintaining employment. That’s why it’s important Congress passes laws to ensure those living with a disability get a fair shot at earning a living.  

In the latest version of the MDA Advocacy Institute, learn from experts on Capitol Hill and the National Disability Rights Network about pending legislation to help those living with a disability enter and stay in the workforce.
