The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) represents a critical federal commitment to validating non-pharmaceutical, evidence based health approaches. MAHA Action supports maintaining NCCIH as the ONLY federal research infrastructure dedicated to studying nutrition, integrative medicine, and non opioid pain management. Instead of eliminating it, MAHA Action advocates for sharpening NCCIHs focus toward high quality, replicable research that brings natural medicine into the scientific evidence base. This responsible approach recognizes that Americans deserve access to legitimate health pathways studied seriously, and enables patients and doctors to make informed decisions backed by rigorous federal research. Eliminating NCCIH would shut down the infrastructure necessary to bridge complementary health into mainstream medical practice.
