Support HB0060
Bill Summary
House Bill 60 adds “immunization status” – a person’s vaccination history – as a protected characteristic in Vermont’s anti‑discrimination laws for employment, housing, and public accommodations. Employers, landlords, and public accommodation operators would be barred from denying jobs, housing, services, or access solely because of someone’s vaccination choices, with the law taking effect July 1, 2025.

Why It Matters to the Make America Healthy Again Movement
The MAHA Movement supports this bill because it ensures that people are not punished in work, housing, or public life for declining or questioning vaccines. By treating immunization status like other protected characteristics in anti‑discrimination law, H.60 advances MAHA’s commitment to medical freedom, informed consent, and the principle that essential opportunities should never hinge on private medical decisions.
