Protect Our Trans Siblings! Tell Congress to Vote NO on H.R. 28
This week Congress will be voting on H.R. 28, a bill which would effectively ban transgender women and girls from competing on women's athletic teams that receive federal funds. This discriminatory proposal seeks to exclude transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people from athletics programs in schools. 

As a loving faith community, the United Church of Christ views this bill as a violation of the sacred dignity of our trans siblings. We urge our advocates to call their members of Congress and tell them to vote NO on H.R. 28. 

The House of Representatives is set to vote on this bill today, January 14th 2025. Now is the time to raise your voice!
