Community health centers are an essential piece of the healthcare system, providing access to high-quality, affordable primary care in underserved communities. As economic engines, community health centers provide local jobs, keep people healthy and engaged in their local communities, and save taxpayers money by providing lower-cost care and keeping people out of emergency rooms and expensive hospital stays.
