Lawmakers have introduced SB 3499 to euthanize human beings with doctor assistance. Ironically, they also introduced SB 3792 which would prevent animal shelters from euthanizing dogs and cats.
So-called Physician Suicide is a cruel and blatant disregard for human life. It ignores human exceptionalism - the fact that we were created in the very image of God, unlike no other of God's creation.
Canada's history with physician assisted suicide shows that if allowed to pass, soon it will expand to beyond the terminally ill, putting the disabled and others at great risk.
A great outcry MUST go against this appalling attempt to end the life of vulnerable human beings under the guise of compassion.
