HB 3247 - Free K-12 School for Illegal Immigrant Children or Get Sued
HB 3247 mandates free public school for illegal immigrant children through the 12th grade. Prohibits public schools from cooperating with federal immigration officers. It allows for civil lawsuits brought to the courts by illegal aliens against schools that do not comply with this Act. Plaintiffs could be award up to $17,000 in damages.
