The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, H.R. 21, passed in the U.S. House in January 23, 2025.  But in the U.S. Senate, The bill needed 60 votes to advance but only received 52. Predictably, our two U.S. Senators, Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth voted against providing care for babies who survive an abortion.
