Currently in South Dakota, the major health providers are locking parents out of their children's online medical records after the child turns 12. Many locations are refusing the physical medical records as well, unless the child signs a waiver in front of hospital staff giving parents access.
Loving parents shouldn't be locked out.
Contact your Senator and ask them to support HB1061, a bill that prohibits medical systems from automatically locking a parent out of their children's medical records. Ask your Senator to vote yes and protect parental rights!
