Emory Cavin began his term as FGCU's 26th Student Government President on April 1, 2023, and will serve a one-year term ending on March 31, 2024.  During this term, he will also serve as a member of the FGCU Board of Trustees. 

Emory is a junior pursuing a communication degree. During his time at FGCU, he has been a Resident Assistant, Residence Life Team Assistant, Honors House Leader, and the Student Government Supervisor of Elections.

So many of them have changed my life and nothing excites me more than to give back to that community in any way I can.
