Urge Congress to take action on telehealth before flexibilities expire in December!
With legislators home in their districts until November, it’s the perfect time to let them know how important it is to make sure language extending telehealth flexibilities, including the option of conducting the required hospice recertification face-to-face visit via telehealth, past the deadline of December 31.

H.R. 7623, the Telehealth Modernization Act, which passed the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and its Senate companion legislation, S. 3967, includes a provision to extend the COVID-19 telehealth flexibilities until 2026.

It’s easy to send a message to your lawmaker—we have drafted language for you to edit and share details of how these flexibilities have helped increase access to care for patients in your community.

As always, thank you for your support of and interest in HPNA’s advocacy work!
