Protect Medicare Patient Access to MNT - Take Action Today!
Medicare payments to healthcare providers, including dietitians, have failed to keep pace with rising costs, putting patient access at risk. Reimbursement cuts stem from statutory requirements and the expiration of temporary fixes. Medicare physician payment rates have dropped nearly 29% since 2001 when adjusted for inflation.

Without action, ongoing cuts will continue to jeopardize access to dietitians and other Medicare Part B providers. The bipartisan Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act (H.R. 879) proposes a 6.62% increase to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Conversion Factor from April 1 through December 31, 2025. This adjustment eliminates the current reduction, accounts for inflation, and stabilizes provider payments.

The current Continuing Resolution expires on March 14—Congress must act before then. Urge your Representative to support H.R. 879 and protect patient access to care.
