Support Iowa Firefighters in Their Battle Against Occupational Cancer

Iowa firefighters risk their lives every day to protect our communities. However, their bravery comes with a hidden cost: an increased risk of occupational cancer. That's why we're advocating for comprehensive cancer presumption for Iowa firefighters.

The Issue: Firefighters are exposed to toxic substances on the job, putting them at a higher risk of developing cancer. Despite this risk, many firefighters struggle to receive the care and support they need when diagnosed with some work-related cancer.

Our Goal: We're urging Iowa elected officials to support comprehensive cancer presumption for firefighters. This critical protection would ensure that firefighters receive the care and support they need when diagnosed with work-related cancer.

Take Action: Please take a moment to send a message to your elected officials, urging them to support comprehensive cancer presumption for firefighters. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who risk everything to protect us.

Thank you for your support!
