We the undersigned call on Governor Ivey to close the coverage gap as soon as possible because:

• Hundreds of thousands of Alabamians with low incomes would benefit from Medicaid expansion.
• We can afford it. Closing the coverage gap comes with a $619 million signing bonus.
• It helps workers stay employed and boosts labor force participation rates.
• It will protect rural hospitals.
• Our uninsured veterans and their families deserve health care coverage.
