Tell Congress to Protect Babies who are Born Alive!

Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC), the largest grassroots public policy women’s organization in the country, needs your help in urging your Representative to protect babies who are born alive after attempts to end their lives by abortion.

Currently, 0.21% of infants survive abortions, but that figure is rising. In 2020 alone, an estimated 1,927 infants were born alive after abortion in the United States. That number is expected to rise due to abortion-friendly laws and increased use and availability of chemical abortion pills, which can fail and which some pro-abortion activists encourage for use after the period of time authorized by the Food and Drug Administration. Today, a survivor’s care is subject to the whims of whomever is carrying out the abortion.

To address this serious gap in law, the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate will vote on the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act this week. This bill protects babies who are born alive in abortion attempts by affirming the baby’s legal personhood and recognizing the baby’s right to medical care. Babies born alive would have to be treated on the same terms as any other human being.

Tell your Representative to support babies who are born alive and VOTE YES!

Babies who are born alive from attempted abortions are deserving of every medical tool that can spare their little life, as they are clearly a human with the ability to survive. This is not about restricting or regulating abortion; it is about stopping infanticide.

This is common sense legislation.

Tell your Representative to support babies who are born alive and VOTE YES on H.R. 21 and S. 6.
