Women fought for decades for women and girls to have the same sports opportunities as men. But now radical gender ideologues are trying to strip women and girls out of these very opportunities by forcing them to compete against biological men. In 2020, the Biden Administration announced a rewrite of Title IX that would include "gender identity and sexual orientation" into the definition of gender, ultimately allowing men to compete in women's athletics. But it is a scientific fact that men simply have a biological advantage over women in many physical characteristics. Males have higher bone density and content, a larger skeletal structure, larger hearts, greater lung capacity, and greater fast-twitch muscle fiber for explosive power. Men and women are not interchangeable.

While the rewrite has been rescinded, it is critical for Congress to pass this law to ensure that women's sports are protected from any similar future assaults. S.9 and H.R. 28 would affirm that "gender" in Title IX is defined by one's biological sex.
