On February 5, 2025, the Washington state senate will vote to pass SB 5181 which repeals I-2081, the "parents bill of rights", repealing the most critical aspects of the initiative. This policy is bad for students, making it difficult and sometimes impossible for their parents to be engaged and advocate for their children.
