New Congress: New Opportunities to Advance Armenia Security; Support Artsakh’s Return

-- Write, Call, Post on X to Call on Congress to Enact Pro-Armenian Priorities

Join the ANCA in asking the newly sworn-in U.S. House and Senate to prioritize our pro-Armenian policy priorities, aimed at establishing a just, dignified, and durable peace in the South Caucasus that ensures the security of Armenia, supports the rightful return of Artsakh’s (Nagorno Karabakh) Armenians, and counters escalating genocidal threats to Armenia from Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Key Priorities Include:

-- Enforce prohibitions on military assistance to Azerbaijan under Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act.

-- Advocate for the imposition of Magnitsky sanctions on Azerbaijani officials responsible for war crimes.

-- Support the immediate release of Armenian POWs and political prisoners.

-- Ensure displaced Artsakh Armenians can return home under international protections.

-- Champion protections for vulnerable Armenian and other minorities in Syria.

-- Provide robust humanitarian aid to address the Artsakh Armenian refugee crisis.

-- Ensure Armenian Genocide education in U.S. schools as part of ongoing efforts to end Turkey's obstruction of justice of this crime

Write, call, and post on X (formerly Twitter) urging your Members of Congress to join the Armenian Caucus and prioritize these pro-Armenian policies. A sample letter, call script, and X post are provided for your convenience.
