The BoatU.S. Government Affairs Team is always working to stay in front of policy trends on the water. Here’s what BoatU.S. is watching for you:

Proposed new National Marine Sanctuaries – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine Sanctuaries (OMS) is in the process of establishing new sanctuaries on the East and West Coast and Great Lakes. Sanctuaries provide additional protection for some of the most iconic marine environments, which are enjoyed by millions of boaters. BoatU.S. is  carefully reviewing these new proposals to make sure traditional recreational uses are considered and access is maintained. We stay in close contact with the OMS and appreciate their thoughtful engagement with us.
