Supporting Disabled Entrepreneurs Act
In December, Senator Shaheen (D-NH) and Senator Braun (R-IN) introduced the Supporting Disabled Entrepreneurs Act (S. 3528). This bill would establish the position of Coordinator for Disabled Small Business Concerns within the SBA, who would enhance support for disabled small businesses across capital, counseling, and contracting programs. The bill would also collect data on disability-run small businesses and report recommendations to Congress.

Importantly, the Supporting Disabled Entrepreneurs Act would help support entrepreneurial opportunities for individuals with disabilities, creating financial stability and generational wealth, as well as benefiting the national economy.

A fact sheet has been attached below with more details on the legislation. Please use the action alert to message your Senators urging them to support this bill.
