Support Illinois Early Childhood Education and Care for FY26!
On March 4, 2025, parents, early childhood providers and advocates are “Building Tomorrow Together” and coming together in the Illinois State Capitol to urge lawmakers to support investments in early childhood programs.

You don’t have to be in Springfield to add your voice to this call to action for Illinois’ youngest learners. Ask your lawmakers to support the following:

  • Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity (ECACE) - $15 million increase
  • Early Intervention (EI) Program - $60 million increase
  • Home Visiting (HV) Programs - $5 million increase
  • Child Care - $250 million increase
  • Early Childhood Block Grant - $75 million increase

In addition, ask your legislator to co-sponsor HB3439/SB2446 to improve the process for licensing of child care programs.

In three easy steps, please send a letter to your lawmakers urging them to invest in and support Illinois early child care and education for FY26!

  1. Follow form instructions to review the message body. You can also add your own message if you like.
  2. Fill out your name, email, phone number, and address in the form.
  3. Click ‘send message’

Please feel free to customize your letter and focus on any of these programs that are most important to you. In addition, please add more information about your own personal connection to early childhood programs and services.

Early childhood education and care is vital for Illinois. Your voice makes a difference. Thank you for taking action!
