This TUESDAY the Arizona House will be voting on HB2518.

HB2518 would prohibit anyone serving on the Corporation Commission and staff from going to work for the utilities they were just regulating for a period of four years. This important reform will ensure the Commission is acting in the best interest of ratepayers, not shareholders of utilities. 

Commissioners should not be making important decisions on rate increases or resource plans with the thought of going to work for the very entity they are charged to regulate. They should only be thinking about the best interests of Arizona ratepayers. HB2518 would slam the revolving door shut!
