MSRT Advocates for the R.T. Profession

The Massachusetts Society of Radiologic Technologists is proud to represent radiologic technologists and serve as the official voice in the Commonwealth on matters concerning the profession and practice of radiologic technology. The MSRT continually monitors legislative and regulatory activity to keep its membership informed.

Our profession faces many challenges, including attempts by other health care professions to expand their scope of practice into medical imaging and radiation therapy.

The MSRT has worked diligently to limit encroachment on radiologic technology by other health care practitioners.  The MSRT has attended legislative committee hearings and has submitted written or oral testimony on proposed bills that could have an impact on the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession.

We encourage all Massachusetts technologists to stay informed and to take an active role in advocating for our profession and our patients.
