The Alaska Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers unveiled the 2025 Alaska Report Card today, giving the state's infrastructure an overall grade of ‘C.’ This grade is a one-notch improvement from Alaska’s 2021 Report Card GPA and surpasses the 2021 national GPA of ‘C-’ from the Report Card for America’s Infrastructure. A ‘C’ signals that Alaska’s infrastructure is in fair condition—functional but in need of investment and prioritizing available resources efficiently to ensure long-term reliability.
