The Improving Care and Access to Nurses Act (H.R. 2713 and S. 2418) would eliminate practice barriers that adversely affect advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in states with full practice authority and strengthen access to care for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. The legislation empowers ARPNs to practice to their full scope of their education and clinical training. In addition, the bill will increase the availability of ARPNs nationwide, help address significant provider shortages, and reduce health inequities in medically underserved areas. Please act today and ask your Representative to cosponsor H.R. 2713 and S. 2418.
