Thanks for your efforts in encouraging the state legislature to override Governor Andy Beshear's vetoes. The state legislature has overridden every veto that we wanted them to override.
The entire state legislature overrode the governor's veto on:
House Bill 2 (gold and silver non-taxation bill)
House Bill 4 (anti-DEI bill)
House Bill 6 (gov. regulations bill)
House Bill 90 (freestanding birthing centers bill)
House Bill 399 (disrupting the legislature felony bill)
House Bill 495 (to overturn Andy Beshear's Unconstitutional conversion therapy ban EO)
House Bill 684 (credit and debit cards no longer legit ID to vote)
Senate Bill 19 (moment of silence and moral reflection bill) And several other pieces of legislation.
We would still like the state legislature to pass the Baby Olivia Act, the Healthcare Heroes Recruitment and Retention Act, and a bill for the Ten Commandments in the schools. Despite our efforts this year, those pieces of legislation did not pass, although the physician right of conscience bill almost passed.
