Senate Bill 169 for Opposing the Exploitation of Our Children
Senate Bill 169 specifies that the attorney general may issue subpoenas to social media companies, mobile payment companies, and internet service providers in investigations into claims of sexual exploitation against children. This would compel the cooperation of those businesses in those investigations.
That piece of legislation would go well with Senate Bill 73 to enhance its enforcement. Senate Bill 169 has already passed the state senate, but it risks getting stuck in the House Judiciary Committee.
Please encourage your state house legislator and the House Judiciary Committee to take up and vote to approve Senate Bill 169.
Thanks for your help,
Sincerely,
Dr. Frank Simon, M.D., and his staff
