Please contact your state legislator by email here and also by phone at 1-800-372-7181 and tell them to oppose and vote NO on the legalization of recreational marijuana. Please inform your legislators to vote NO and to oppose House Bills 105-106 and Senate Bills 33 & 36. The pro-marijuana lobby has often had their people up in the state capitol building lobbying our legislators. We've seen them in the state capitol's halls on multiple occasions when we've been up in Frankfort.
Although marijuana is not as bad as alcohol for driving while under the influence, the use of marijuana nevertheless contributes to more car crashes. The use of recreational marijuana also tends to weaken the sort of industriousness (good work ethic) that helped to make America great in the first place.
We do not need to normalize recreational marijuana any more than it already is, by making it legal.
