Support House Bill 3794, Full Practice Authority Legislation

On Monday, April 14, the Texas House Committee on Public Health will hear testimony on full practice authority (FPA) legislation, House Bill 3794.

As introduced, this bill would retire the requirement for nurse practitioners (NPs) to have a contractual agreement with a delegating physician and would authorize NPs to prescribe Schedule II controlled substances in all settings.

AANP Members can now use this form to quickly and easily message lawmakers to respectfully request they support this bill.
